This product is also part of the Back 2 MAC program, where if you recycle 6 empty plastic products back to MAC (Lustreglass included), you can trade them in for a at a freestanding store for a free eye shadow, lip gloss, or lipstick (at counters, it's just a lipstick).Ooh, I have totally purchased things just for the packaging before. The yummy scent is subtle and not overpowering at all. At $14.50, I believe these are priced well because they will last a really long time. They are a bit less sticky than the original MAC Lip glass, but they have a pearl 'lustre' finish that separates them from the rest of the shimmering glosses.

I typically don't wear lip gloss, but this was such a pretty shade I couldn't resist! Flusterose is part of MAC's Lustreglass line. Try this in the springtime with some pale lavender pastels for the ultimate girly look! I love wearing this with gray or brown smokey eyes. It gives a really sweet and feminine look to the lips, and the pearl texture gives a glow, versus a chunky shimmer that you typically see in many lip glosses. Try this shade out!įlusterose is a pearlescent pink with a hint of a rose tone. I honestly believe that Love Nectar would work on every coloring paired with the right makeup and clothing it's got a great mix of both peach and pink with gold that is universally flattering.

On the lips, it gives such a multi-dimensional glow that I'm obsessed with! I have fair skin with peachy undertones, and brown hair/eyes, so this color works really well for my coloring. It looks like an sheer apricot base with pink and gold iridescence shot through it. Love Nectar is one of the most gorgeous lip glosses I've come across. They are a bit less sticky than lip glass, but they have a pearl 'lustre' finish that separates them from the rest of the shimmering glosses. MAC Lustreglass is different than the original MAC Lip Glass. The texture is smooth and makes my lips glow! It's perfect to tone down ultra-pigmented lips, and great to top of lipsticks with! On my neutral-warm coloring, it can look a little “Ice Queen” if I layer too much on, but I love swiping on a sheer layer to tone down lips when I have a dramatic eye. It's a pearlescent sheer and milky white/pink with pink sheen. This is something I definitely wear to enhance or tone down any other l/g or l/s. Will it replace my MAC l/g? I don't think so. I will definitely repurchase Hey Sailor or any other color in the lustreglass collection. Maybe because I don't wear it on its own. I do love the amazing shine and with all that glitter, this don't feel gritty or weird on the lips. It also hide my dry and chapped lips making my lips look so plump and healthy. The lustreglass is definitely a lot less stickier than the normal lipglass which I'm so used to but it is still very thick.

This does have a bit more glitter than I usually wear but it's not the disco ball effect either so I'm happy with it. It is that raspberry kinda pink with tiny white pearl flecks. While doing my research, I found a color I really wanted and that is Hey Sailor.

I decided to do some research and find out what are the difference between the 2 glosses. I know Lustreglass been out a long time ago but they don't have a big range of colors so I hardly even bother to try one. I was browsing through MAC website looking to replace my 2nd tube of Prrr, I came across Lustreglass. I always been a fan of MAC lipglass cause of they're pigmented and last a lot longer than most lipgloss in the market.
